06 Feb Recipe Of The Week: Bake & Shark
With Carnival around the corner your visiting friends and family will be expecting a lot of sun and relaxation before all the madness starts. A little treat to Maracas Bay this weekend will be a great way to kick off the Carnival Season.
Trinidad and Tobago has the sun, sea and sand, but one of our jewels in the crown is the savoury, Bake and Shark. There are many places that serve Bake and Shark at Maracas Bay and if it’s your first time eating this tasty sandwich remember to pack it tight with the free fresh salad and condiments. Try the Tamarind sauce, Garlic sauce and of course, Chadon beni.
If you cannot get to the beach you can try it yourself at home! This recipe will satisfy your cravings and as a bonus, if you come into the store this month to purchase our blue shark portions you will receive another half off.
